Szatymaz, Gull Study Trail

Located between Tömörkány and Szeged, the Pusztaszer Landscape Reserve is outstandingly rich in sights and natural values. Its largest standing water is the Lake Fehér of Szeged, which is a fishpond system created from a former soda lake.  The trail provides information about the history and rich birdlife of Lake Fehér. The bird hide built on the lake can be accessed with an expert guide; the maximum number of people per group is 8-10.

Accessible on foot and by bicycle, throughout the year

Recommended gear: comfortable clothing according to the weather and a pair of binoculars. Insect repellent is recommended after rainy periods.

How to approach: The trail starts at the Tisza Valley Visitor Centre, located at km 157 of Route E5.
